ABOUT ME
Dr. Anna Gabur is an Assistant Professor of Sociology in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology at Weber State University in Ogden, Utah.
In 2024 Anna Gabur received her Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of Notre Dame where she studied culture, emotions, and health with a focus on pain and empathy. Gabur’s work on pain received the Outstanding Graduate Paper Award from the ASA Emotions Section and her teaching has been recognized with multiple awards.
Anna Gabur is currently finalizing work on a book that explores how people share pain and joy with their confidants.
